Second Man Charged with Playwright Gregory Singh’s 2018 Murder

A second person has been charged with the 2018 murder of playwright Gregory Adam Singh.
JOSHUA DANIEL ST. GEORGE, 25, of Saddle Road, San Juan, is expected to appear virtually before an Arima Magistrate today, charged with the offence, following advice received from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), on Friday 13th August, 2021.
Singh, a playwright and video producer, was found dead by relatives at his Mohan Avenue, Arouca, home on September 12th 2018. An autopsy determined the cause of death as ligature strangulation.
The accused was arrested in Chaguanas by officers of the Central Division on Wednesday 11th August, 2021.
Investigations were supervised by ASP Lindon Douglas, of Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 2, while St. George was charged on Friday 13th August, 2021, by WPC Timothy.
A 20-year-old Morvant man, Ricardo Randell Clarke, was charged with this murder on September 25th, 2018.
