While T&T for many years has been described as the party capital of the Caribbean, Barbados is often referred to as the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean.
Last evening at Estate 101, in Maraval the 10th edition of The Barbados Food and Rum Festival was launched giving birth to a series of events, or better yet – culinary and beverage experiences.
Designed to tantalize the taste buds, while offering a variety of other colourful and flavourful experiences, the festival promises to stimulate the other senses as well.
The main event set to take place on October 24th – October 27th, has been rated as the culinary highlight of the year!
Last evening patrons were welcomed to sample both food and drink as well as enjoy jazz and steel pan music which gave an eye opener to what persons can expect in October.
