Australia Progresses To Knock Out Stage Following 1-Nil Win Against Denmark

Australia pulled off a 1-0 win against Denmark to secure a place in the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup for the first time in 16 years.

In the 60th minute, Mathew Leckie, scored the lone goal in the match.

Australia is on six points in Group D behind World Champions France on goal difference.

Australia will now play the winners of Group C.

Meanwhile, Tunisia got a historic 1-0 victory over defending champions France

Tunisia captain Wahbi Khazi’s netted the only goal of the match in the 58th minute of play.

However, despite the win Tunisia failed to qualify for the last 16 of the World Cup.

At 3pm Argentina play against Poland in Group C and Mexico take on Saudi Arabia.
