An Arima Senior Comprehensive School student was robbed by three men, two of whom were armed with a cutlass on Wednesday.
The 13-year-old victim reported that he was at school in company with other students playing basketball on the school’s compound around 11:30pm, when the ball went over the wall on the western perimeter.
The victim and another student proceeded over the wall and upon retrieving the ball, the three men accosted them.
The victim became fearful and was relieved of his Samsung A10 cell phone valued $1,200 and $31 in cash.
The suspects escaped into the nearby bushes.
