A Santa Cruz man is dead and two others injured after the vehicle in which they occupied was ambushed in Diego Martin.
Dion Winston, 35, along with two other occupants, was driving a gold Nissan Almera along Factory Road in Diego Martin last night, when he was ambushed by two gunmen. They fired several shots at the car, hitting Winston several times about the body before escaping. One of the occupants, a 22-year-old, was hit in his right leg and the other occupant was lucky enough to only suffer minor injuries from broken glass.
The three persons were taken to the St. James Medical Complex for treatment, but Winston died soon after arrival. The other two were treated.
Police are continuing investigations. Winston, the deceased, was a PH driver.
