There is a request for the government to implement special gas rebates for fishermen in Monday’s national budget.
The request comes from the All Tobago Fisherfolk Association.
It will like to see special gas rebates for the fisherfolk and appeals for gas rebates every two weeks instead of every three months.
The Association is proposing 50-75 cents on a litre.
It is also hoping to see a greater investment in agriculture and fishing to preserve food security.
