The Ministry of Education wished to advise the public the the re-opening of schools on Wednesday 25th September, 2019. All schools except the San Juan North Secondary School will be open to receive students and facilitate curriculum delivery.
Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia has commended the efforts and thanked all persons involved in the cleaning and sanitisation of all schools affected by the passage of Tropical Storm Karen over the weekend.
The Minister stated “I want to thank teachers, parents, the Regional Corporations and all stakeholders who came together to ensure that all our schools were back up and running.
Though efforts were made to have the San Juan North Secondary School ready, the extensive flooding called for more work to be done than could be facilitated in the last two days.”
