Adverse weather alert in effect

The Met Office has placed Trinidad on a Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert.
This is now in effect until 6pm today, November 27th.

According to the Met Office, there is a 70% chance of heavy shower and thunderstorms which can lead to the threat of isolated flash flooding.

These, it says, can cause temporary traffic disruptions.

The Met also warns that gusty winds and frequent lightning activity can be expected.
