Steel rod falls on Deyalsingh during unveiling ceremony in Sangre Grande

A steel rod fell on top of Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh during an unveiling signage ceremony at the Sangre Grande Enhanced Health Centre.

Minister Deyalsingh along with the Member of Parliament for Toco/Sangre Grande, Roger Monroe were unveiling the new TTMoves sign on Thursday afternoon, while standing on either end of the curtain.

Both gentlemen pulled on the cords, however the curtain did not budge – Minister Deyalsingh then gave the rod an added tug which caused the curtain to fall leading to the rod falling on his head and shoulder.

Minister Deyalsingh appeared to be unharmed by the incident however his glasses got knocked off his face.
