The celebratory energy was palpable at the Texas Southern University commencement ceremony on Saturday (December 11). The class of 843 graduates included Houston native Megan Thee Stallion, who has been touting her upcoming graduation for months.
The university held two ceremonies – one at 9:30 a.m. and a second at 12:30 p.m. local time — and Megan let her fans know they could catch her at the latter.
Right on schedule, Megan Thee Stallion — dressed in a traditional graduation gown and bedazzled mortarboard hat — joined the rest of the 2021 class at the school’s Health & Physical Education Arena. The TSU Instagram account shared a post of Megan walking hand-in-hand with TSU President Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young.
