Interruption in water service for parts of West Trinidad on Tuesday

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is scheduled to upgrade conduct works on the Tucker Valley Booster Pumping Station on Tuesday, which means that there will be an interruption in service for parts of West Trinidad including Carenage, Glencoe and Chaguaramas on Tuesday.

The Authority said customers served by that Booster Pumping Station will experience the disruption in their pipe borne water supply between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Areas affected include:

Along the Western Main Road from La Horquette Valley Road to Teteron including all side streets encompassing Chaguaramas, Carenage, Big Yard, Abbe Poujade, Gittens Dale, Haig Street, School Street, Glencoe Estate, West Vale, The Park, Gulf View and La Horquette Valley Road.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the works.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
