Tobago Police issued 43 fixed penalty notices for various offences during separate exercises across the Division yesterday.
Of those ticketed were:
• 29 drivers for speeding
• Seven for failing to wear seatbelts
• Six persons for failing to wear face masks in public
• One for no identification lights
The tickets were issued during exercises executed on January 2nd in the Charlotteville, Crown Point, Roxborough, Scarborough and Shirvan Road Policing Districts.
Tobago Police are strongly urging all road users to exercise road safety practices, to adhere to all road traffic regulations and for persons to obey the Public Health Regulations, to reduce the likelihood of injury to limbs and property, illness, and loss of lives.
