Social media feedback from persons in St Clair, San Juan, El Socorro, St Joseph, Woodbrook, Arouca, Barataria, Curepe and Tobago indicate they felt an earthquake on Monday.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Center said the magnitude four point zero tremor occurred around noon.
It said the earthquake occurred North West of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Center said it had a depth of sixty-seven kilometers.
There are no reports so far of damage to property or loss of life.
