The Health Ministry has recorded 5 additional deaths and 269 new positive COVID-19 cases.
This has brought the total number of Covid related deaths to 3,779.
Meanwhile, Seven (7) people in Tobago have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The number of current active infections on the island now stands at 339.
That’s according to the latest update from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).
The report also notes that no new deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded in Tobago over the past 24 hours, so the island’s death toll remains at 261 lives lost.
