One man was arrested and a vehicle bearing false registration plates was seized by officers of the Port of Spain Criminal Investigations Department’s Stolen Vehicles Squad, during an anti-crime exercise in the Penal.
Between the hours of 5.30 am and 10:00 am on Friday, officers executed a search warrant at the Penal Rock Road, Penal home of a 31-year-old man.
The search resulted in officers finding one unregistered white Nissan Sylphy motor vehicle bearing false registration plates.
The suspect who was at home at the time of the exercise was arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing.
