A 34-year-old woman was shot and injured while on the main road in Barrackpore on Tuesday.
Paige James Juman was reportedly in the company of her husband, standing along the Barrackpore Main Road on Tuesday evening, when a vehicle pulled alongside them.
Reports state that gunmen then opened fire hitting her multiple times in the leg and abdomen, leaving her husband unhurt.
Juman was rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.
