Police are investigating the murder of a 30-year-old woman in Rio Claro.
The victim has been identified as Patrice Aaron.
Her body was found with a head wound on Tuesday at her rented apartment in Poole Village, Rio Claro.
Police were alerted by a friend of Aaron’s around 5.30 pm, after the friend received a voice note which had the sounds of commotion in the background.
The friends said subsequent calls and messages went unanswered.
The police went to the apartment and gained entry with the landlord’s help, where they found Aaron’s naked body on the bed and blood spattered on the bed and floor.
No one has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing.
Aaron worked at an auto parts business in San Pedro Poole.
