An accident involving a cement truck near the Debe Secondary School yesterday has claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 6pm.
Simran Rahamut, a mother of one from Laltoo Trace in Penal, was a passenger with three others in a family’s car when it collided with a cement truck.
She subsequently died at the scene.
Rahamut’s father, Afraz Rahamut, a second female along with a child were taken for medical treatment at the San Fernando General Hospital.
