WI U-19 cricketers defeat Sri Lanka by three wickets

West Indies Under-19 cricketers defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets a short while ago in their Group 2 game of the Super Sixes stage of the ICC World Cup in Kimberley, South Africa.

Batting first Sri Lanka made 231 all out off 50 overs.

Their innings got a boost from Dinura Kalupahana made 53 runs.

Bowling for the regional side, Raneico Smith, led the attack with figures of 4 wickets for 47 runs from 10 overs.

The result is the West Indies third straight win in the tournament.

They defeated Kenya, England and now Sri Lanka.

In their opening match against South Africa the Caribbean team lost the game.
