Rain is expected in the Port-of-Spain area this afternoon.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) said that periods of showers in varying areas will interrupt sunny intervals. There is a chance that showers will become heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms will develop in some areas.
Nighttime will be partly cloudy with few showers, becoming settled towards midnight. In the event that a heavy shower or thunderstorm does occur gusty winds, street and flash flooding is likely.
