A Tobago man was arrested and a firearm and quantity of ammunition seized by officers of the Tobago Division during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Bethel district.
Officers of the Shirvan Road Police Station conducted the exercise yesterday at the home of a 42-year-old man, where they executed a search warrant. They found one silver Smith & Wesson revolver, loaded with five rounds of ammunition.
The suspect who was in the house at the time of the exercise, was arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are continuing.
