Residents and parents of pupils of the St Dominic’s RC Primary are staging another fiery protest at Penal Rock Road for a new school.
The protesters burned debris and blocked vehicular traffic from early this morning, and have vowed to keep it burning despite the heavy police presence.
This latest action comes on the heels of calls to relocate the students to the Penal Fire Station and another primary school.
“We doh want that. We want a new school,” shouted a protester. Several areas in Penal Rock Road, Church Street, and Lachoos Road are blocked.
