WASA Advises Customers In North East Trinidad Interconnection Works Successfully Completed

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of North East Trinidad, who were affected by the interconnection works at the corner of the Aripo Road and Eastern Main Road, Arima that the works were successfully completed and the supply restored at 8:30 a.m. today.

It says this includes permanent rehabilitation of the roadway in the area of the jobsite.

In a media release on Thursday WASA said customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the pipeline system to pressurize and for the water supply to normalize to some affected areas.

The Authority thanks customers and motorists for their patience and understanding during the period of disruption.
