A Petit Valley family of six is the latest to be left traumatised after having experienced a home invasion.
Reports state that during the hours of 3am to 4am on Thursday, a group of armed men broke into the Orchid Avenue South, Victoria Gardens, Petit Valley home of a family of six, which included an elderly couple and a minor.
The men severely beat one of the homeowners, while demanding to know where a key and money were.
Other members of the family were bound by the wrist and beaten.
Reports are one of the attackers had entered the community in a vehicle, telling security that he was going to a certain home.
