West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Shai Hope has been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s One-Day International Player of the Year 2022 award.
The 29 year old finished last year with 709 runs, at an average of 35.45, which included three hundreds and two half-centuries.
In his 100th one day international game, Hope scored 115 of 135 balls against India in Trinidad with eight fours and three sixes in his 100th ODI appearance.
The others nominees are Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, Australia leg-spinner, Adam Zampa, and Zimbabwe all-rounder, Sikandar Raza.
