The UWI Seismic Research Centre has recorded a magnitude 4.9 earthquake.
The SRC’s automatic earthquake location stated that the quake occurred at 1:16 pm (Local Time), and reportedly located at latitude: 12.14N, longitude: 61.49W and depth: 10 km.
The earthquake is said to have struck 30 km ENE of St. George’s, Grenada, 116 km SSW of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and 135 km NW of Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago.
