UWI Seeks To Improve Its Financial Health.

The University of the West Indies is seeking to improve its financial health.

This intention is outlined in its  2022-27 strategic plan.

In a media release on Thursday, the UWI says the plan has been approved and underway.

It’s dubbed the ‘Revenue Revolution’.

The second phase of The UWI Triple A Strategy was given the green light by the University Council.

This was done during a special meeting of its members held in July.

It is now underway as the new academic year begins.

According to Vice-Chancellor of The UWI, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, “The University’s leadership is confident in the Triple A Strategy’s continued success.

As we pursue this next critical strategic cycle, the Revenue Revolution, we look forward to the continued partnership of our UWI community including Caribbean governments, regional and international corporations, and development partners.”
