The drivers of a maxi driver and truck were taken to hospital after an accident near the Claxton Bay flyover on Thursday.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear but reports state that it occurred around 9am, along the southbound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway.
The maxi was reportedly hit from behind by the truck and the impact caused both vehicles to veer off the road and stop in the grass.
The drivers were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
