Two new COVID-19 cases, 98 in home self-isolation

The Ministry of Health has reported two new positive cases of covid19.

The Health Ministry stated that the positive cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period March 13th – 15th and not the last 24 hours.

It further noted that five patients are in hospital with the virus.

 

Some 276 persons are at state quarantine facilities, one is at a step down facility while 98 are in home self-isolation.

There are 106 active cases of the virus in the country.

The Ministry said that of the 7 790 confirmed covid19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago since March 12, 2020, 7 544 have recovered.

The total number of persons tested at both public and private facilities is 103 422. 

The death toll remains at 140.
