UWI’s Seismic Research Centre (UWI SRC) has reported that there were two 3.9 magnitude earthquakes this morning.
Both occurred in roughly the same area west of Port of Spain on the Venezuela peninsula.
The first one was recorded around 3:14am 67km northwest of Port of Spain while the other was at 8:16am 70km west of the capital.
In both instances, some persons reported feeling the quake, while others said they felt nothing.
