T&TEC To Operate Emergency Election Hotline

Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission will activate additional emergency hotlines to allow for an immediate response to any electricity emergencies that may occur on Election Day, Monday.

The Commission has no scheduled outages on the day and, additionally, conducted pre-election assessments to ensure polling stations have an uninterrupted electricity supply.

However, in the unforeseen instance of an emergency, channeling calls through the hotline will ensure quick response.

The hotline will be operational from 4:30 pm on Saturday to 11:00 pm on Monday.

Presiding Officers and/ or Poll Staff who experience problems with electricity at their Station on or before election day are advised to call the T&TEC hotline at 794-4823 or 794-7264 OR call 800-BULB (2852) / 800-TTEC (8832) 24/7.
