Three robbers may have had their plans spoiled by a young security guard from Egret’s Security.
Early Monday morning, the 22-year-old security officer was patrolling the eastern entrance at West Mall when he saw three men. He raised an alarm and called for backup. The men, on discovering that they were seen, ran towards a White Nissan Almera that was waiting nearby. They then sped off.
Officers attached to the Allied Security Company responded to assist. Police from the Western Division police responded to report.
Investigations are continuing.
