A Sangre Grande couple was robbed when they went to Port of Spain on Wednesday to view a car for sale.
The 20-year-old woman and 24-year-old man told police that they went to George Street, Port of Spain around 6 pm Wednesday evening to meet the owners of a black Nissan Almera, who posted it as being for sale on Facebook marketplace.
While waiting, the man and woman were confronted by six men, one of whom had a gun and robbed them.
The bandits stole a cellphone and $500 cash from the man and a gold chain from the woman before running away in different directions.
Officers of the Port of Spain Division are continuing enquiries.
