This week the new rate review for the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission will be presented to the public.
Last week, the parliament was informed by the government the Regulated Industries Commission has completed its rate review process for the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission.
Media reports say in 2006 the last rate review was conducted for T&TEC and the RIC can conduct reviews every five years.
The RIC has the legal responsibility and authority to determine rates and tariffs for T&TEC and WASA.
