TT Ride Share driver accused of robbing passenger

A TT Ride Share driver is accused of robbing a passenger.

Unconfirmed reports state that the driver picked up the female passenger in San Fernando and dropped off at a location in Arima.

The incident took place around 12:30 am on Sunday 21st May.

The 26-year-old woman told the driver that she wanted to be taken to a location at D’Abadie.

Upon arrival the fare was $240 and the woman told the driver she had to go inside the house for cash

The passenger reportedly left her belongings in the car; which she claims was stolen.

The items include an iPhone valued at $2,700 and a pair of Jordan sneakers valued at $2,800.

A report was subsequently made Police officers attached to the Arima Police Station.
