An unexpected circumstance which went on until 11am today, this is the reason given by telecommunication provider, TSTT, for the network interruption which affected landline, internet and mobile customers in Trinidad and Tobago.
Chief Executive Officer of TSTT, Lisa Agard, in a voice note Wednesday said the incident is an isolated occurrence and should not have happened due to several back up plans the company has in place.
Ms Agard said internal engineers addressed the problem and the company apologies to customers for the inconvenience and distress caused by Wednesday’s failure.
TSTT has decided to give its customers free data for the rest of the day until midnight today.
