An adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) has been issued and it comes into effect from 2:00 pm on Tuesday 5th.
According to the Met Office citizens can expect periods of showers and thunderstorms, associated with the combination of a tropical wave and the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), are likely to affect various parts of Trinidad and Tobago.
There is also the likelihood of winds gusting in excess of 55km/hr. Street/ flash flooding or landslips may occur in heavy downpours.
N.B – This alert covers the most likely time-frame for the most significant activity, but rainfall can still be expected outside of this period.
