More than 40 percent of the population is now fully vaccinated.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert gave the figures while addressing the Senate this morning as debate on the 2022 National Budget moved to the Upper House.
He revealed that there are now more than five hundred thousand fully vaccinated individuals with the number rising daily.
He also assured the public that there is no concern regarding a lack of vaccine in the near future with hundreds of thousands of vaccines still in stock and more promised to the Government.
Minister Imbert noted that while vaccine hesitancy is still an issue, some Trinbagonians have been motivated to get vaccinated due to their intentions to travel abroad.
