Trinbago Knight Riders Seek Second Straight Win Agaisnt Jamaica Tallawahs In CPL Tuesday.

Defending Caribbean Premier League T20 Champions, Trinbago Knight Riders,  will be aiming for their second  straight win when they come up against the same opponents, Jamaica Tallawahs, in the first game at 10am tomorrow at Warner Park, St Kitts.

On Sunday third placed TKR won their match against the Tallawahs by seven wickets.

Scores in the game, Tallawahs 144 for 7 from twenty overs, Carlos Braithwaite top scored with 58 runs.

In reply TKR reached 145 for 3 from 17.1 overs.

Player of the Match, Lendl Simmons scored 70 runs from 45 balls including four boundaries and five sixes.

In the first match on Sunday, St Lucia Kings defeated CPL leaders St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by six wickets.

Scores in the match, Patriots 118 all out from 19.3 overs, Fabien Allen led the way with 34 runs.

In their run chase, Kings reached 121 for 4 from 15.4 overs, Roston Chase contributed 51 not out.

At 7pm tomorrow, Barbados Royals take on Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Looking at the points standings, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are on top with ten points from seven games.

Kings are second position on eight points from six matches, TKR six points from six matches, Guyana Amazon Warriors six from six matches, Jamaica Tallawahs four points from five games and Barbados Royals two points from six games.
