It is not been a traditional Christmas.
However, the Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago is hoping there will be an increase in shopping in the build up to Christmas this coming Sunday.
This update came from President of SATT, Rajiv Diptee during an interview with News Power Now Monday afternoon.
Mr Diptee said some supermarkets are expected to open late to accommodate persons who prefer to carry out their shopping at a later time period.
