A century from middle order batsman, and top scorer, Heinrich Klaasen, helped South Africa win the third and final 50 overs one day international by four wickets against West Indies today.
The match was played at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom, South Africa.
Klassen who got the player of the match and series awards made 119 not out.
His innings came off 61 balls.
The knock included fifteen fours and five sixes.
Set 261 runs to win, South Africa reached 264 for 6 from 29.3 overs.
Fast bowler, Alzarri Joseph, was the main wicket taker for the regional side with figures of 3 wickets for 50 runs from 8 overs.
Trinidadian, Akeal Hosein, provided support taking 2 wickets for 49 runs from 7 overs.
Earlier, Brandon King, led the way with 72 runs for the West Indies to help them reach 260 all out off 48.2 overs.
Bowling for South Africa, Marco Jansen, Bjorn Fortuin and Gerald Coetzee had two wickets each.
The first one day international was abandoned due to rain.
Focus will now shift to the T20 series which bowls of on Saturday from 8am.
The second match will be played on Sunday from 8am local time and third and final game on Tuesday.
