Soldier to appear in court today after being charged with murder of mother and daughter

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has instructed the police to lay murder charges against the 48-year-old soldier, Tesson Bradshaw, who murdered his ex, Calida Schamber and her 66-year-old mother Carmelita De Leon last week.

The news comes after both mother and daughter were laid to rest on Tuesday (January 9, 2024), at the Church of the Nativity in Crystal Stream, Diego Martin.

Bradshaw is expected to appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate today to answer the charges.
