A soldier was robbed of his $12,000 gold chain while at a bar in Gasparillo on Tuesday night.
The 23-year-old soldier and the 26-year-old bartender were at Anil’s Bar in Gasparillo when two men walked in around 10:00pm and announced a holdup. Both suspects were armed with guns. They robbed the roulette machine of $3,000 and stole the soldier’s gold chain. One of the suspects fired a shot in the bar before both escaped in a waiting vehicle.
Police recovered one 9mm shell on the scene. Investigations are continuing.
