The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the general public of a major landslip on the North Coast Road, 11km mark (between the lookout and Maracas Bay). The road is currently open to single-lane traffic at this time.
A technical team from the Ministry is currently on site to assess the scale of repair works to be completed, to restore full connectivity to vehicular traffic.
Members of the general public are asked to exercise extreme caution when traversing the North Coast Road. The public should utilize this area ONLY if it is absolutely necessary.
