Skeletal remains found in Mayaro

The skeletal remains that were found in Mayaro have been positively identified as human.

The skeletal remains resembling human remains were escorted to the Forensics Sciences Centre by PC Racha and WPC Ali-Ramharack.

A post-mortem examination was performed by Pathologist Dr. Parthasarath Pramanik and the cause of death was undetermined. The pathologist also concluded that the skeletal remains were human and two teeth were extracted and subsequently submitted for analysis.

According to ADD NewsTT the skeletal remains were found five days ago on a beach off Point Radix by two children who were collecting bottles along the beach.
