A video that has been making the rounds on social media has been causing concern among the population particularly the business community.
It warns individuals using the bank system to withdraw large sums of cash to be very careful.
In the minute long video the outline of a person with a male voice claims to be a friend of a female bank teller who informed him that she is involved in a scheme to relieve people of their money.
According to him, she claims that she was given a phone by someone who she would call if a customer withdrew a large sum of money. The person would then be robbed and she would receive a portion of the money.
Commenting on then video President at Greater San Fernando Area Chamber of Commerce Kiran Singh said if true this is indeed a worrying development.
Speaking with News Power Now this morning Singh said that he had not received any complaints from the Chamber’s members nor had he been privy to the video until this morning.
However he noted the seriousness of the claims made in the video. He said that it is indeed very concerning.
