The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of North East Trinidad, served by the Guanapo Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in their water supply on March 6th 2024, between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
This has become necessary to facilitate planned desilting works at the intake, in order to optimize production at the facility.
Areas to be affected: Parts of Arima including: Pinto Road, Mt. Pleasant, Alenore Gardens, Calvary, Sanchez
Street, Longden Stree, Bye Pass road, Maturita, La Retreat Road, Blanchisseuse Road 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday 6th
March 2024.
Customers are further advised that it may take up to twenty-four hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following restart of the Plant.
