Opposition Leader Kamla Persad Bissessar has described vaccination safe zone by the Government as Vaccine Apartheid.
During debate on the National Budget on Friday, Mrs Persad Bissessar said the concept is flawed, and will result in chaos because it’s poorly conceptualized.
She also said that the plan does not take into account a large percentage of the population, namely children under the age of 12.
She said it was clearly an ill – thought out plan by the Government that can lead to vaccine apartheid.
