Several homes have been affected by extensive flooding in Sangre -Grande.
Confirmation of this comes from Chairman of the Sangre-Grande Regional Corporation, Anil Juteram.
Speaking with the media on Thursday, Mr Juteram identified many streets which experienced severe flooding.
They include Adventist Street, and Railway Road 1, 2 and 3, and Ramdass Street,
Mr Juterman said communities such as Guaico, Vega De Oropouche, Fishing Pond, Coalmine and Manzanilla have also been impacted.
Mr Juterman said cleanup work is taking place while more flooding is expected.
Meanwhile, Councillor for Toco\Sangre Grande, Martin Terry Rondon, said many of the residents are in need for relief supplies.
