Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of a female fire officer whose body was found with gun laying underneath her.
Police said Simone Ramsaroop was driving her blue Nissan Versa with two friends at around 8.30 pm to an event in North Eastern Settlement, Sangre Grande.
Four men, dressed in black, shot at the car from the side of the road before running away.
However conflicting reports say Ramsaroop and her passengers stopped at a mini mart and fired at the men who then returned fire, killing her in the process.
